Pregnancy concerns involve not only practical issues, but emotions as well. You're welcome to share both with us. We'll do our best to help you resolve the practical and deal with the emotional.
There are three options in a pregnancy situation...parenting, making an adoption plan and abortion. Many women make an automatic choice; others like to look at options. We can discuss the pros and cons of each one...for today and for your future.
If healthcare is a concern, we can give you ideas and resources in this area.
Physicians are available, by appointment only, to talk with women about the medical aspects and risks of each option.
If you are unsure about your choice, an ultrasound will give you a "picture" of what's going on inside you.
We have an awesome support system called Face to Face that is available for women and men who are dealing with pregnancies. We have groups/classes for pregnant women, new moms and those who are spiritually seeking. We have a corresponding guys' group for each of the ladies' groups. The support group system features a Baby Boutique, which can help provide just about everything you might need for your baby.
Emergency diapers and formula are provided on an emergency one-time basis. Formula and diapers are also available to Face to Face participants.
Many of our clients have found adoption to be very viable option. Concerns such as finishing education, financial issues, relationship problems, or just not being ready to parent often bring women and men to make an adoption plan. Although we are not an adoption agency and do not match birthmothers with adoptive couples, we do have adoption support and counsel. Hey, it doesn't hurt to check it out!
Abortion carries with it emotional elements. Sometimes women experience relief immediately and sometimes grief and loss immediately. Sometimes emotions are suppressed for years. Sometimes lifestyles change, perspectives change, relationships change. Yet sometimes those events and emotions aren't recognized as related to the abortion until they're looked at in light of that event.
